Vault Claims

Collecty supports physical claims only for cards that are explicitly marked vault-backed. This page covers eligibility, the claim flow, and the status labels you will see on each card.

Eligibility

A card is claimable only when it maps to a specific physical PSA card held by Collecty. Marketplace catalog cards, scraped PSA records, and virtual pack rewards are not automatically physical claims.

Vault-backed

The physical card is held by Collecty, linked to the record, and marked as eligible for claim.

Virtual

The user owns a digital card asset and can trade or sell it back, but there is no physical delivery obligation.

Claim process

Physical redemption is a linear ops flow. Each step must succeed before the next begins — skipped or failed checks leave the card in its prior status.

    Select a vault-backed card

    Open Profile and choose a card whose record is vault-backed. Catalog-only and virtual rewards do not appear in the physical claim flow.

    Verify ownership and inventory

    Collecty checks wallet ownership, the card’s custody flag, and that the matching PSA slab is still available in vault inventory.

    Submit shipping details

    Open a claim request and provide a supported shipping destination. Incomplete or unsupported addresses keep the request from moving forward.

    Prepare, ship, and track

    Ops prepares the physical slab, ships with tracking, and marks the claim claimed in the ledger once the package is in transit.

  5. 5

    Close the digital record

    The on-chain / app record is updated so the same vault-backed card cannot be claimed twice. Sellback and transfer paths for that physical unit are closed.

Status labels

Collecty uses explicit status labels so you know what you can do with each card — trade, sell back, or start a physical claim.

  • virtual rewardWon from a pack or similar digital path. Tradeable / sellback-eligible, but not a physical delivery obligation.
  • marketplace cardListed or browsable in the market catalog. Not vault custody by itself — claim requires an explicit vault-backed record.
  • vault-backedMapped to a specific PSA slab held by Collecty. Eligible to start a physical claim when you own the record.
  • claim pendingA claim request is open. Inventory is reserved while ownership, address, and fulfillment checks run.
  • claimedPhysical shipment has been processed. The digital record is closed for a second claim of that slab.
  • returned to treasuryCustody returned to the treasury after a failed, cancelled, or expired claim path — no longer held by the prior claimant.
  • sold backInstant sellback settled the position. Physical claim is no longer available for that holding.
